Indians are known for their strong educational backgrounds, proficiency in their chosen area of expertise, and innate ability to manage and lead large enterprises. No wonder why CEOs of Indian origin are currently leading many global organizations. In a recent media interaction, Eric Garcetti, U.S. Ambassador to India, said, ‘Can’t be CEO in America if not Indian.’ This statement highlights the trust leading organizations place on Indian talent.

While several organizations have appointed Indian CEOs to scale their business, let’s explore some of the biggest billion-dollar companies that have hired an Indian CEO.

Google & Alphabet
